The Outer Post - ESSAY QUESTION
You are hosting a dinner party. You can bring three people back from the dead to attend. Who would they be, why, and what would you talk about?
The Outer Post - JUDGING
Essays will be judged on both style and content. Judges will look for writing that is creative, clear, articulate and logically organized.
The Outer Post - RULES
- Entrant must be enrolled in his or her first, second, third or fourth year of a 4-year college degree program at the time of entry.
- Entrant must be enrolled in some form of the following majors: Art, Design, Languages, Literature, Creative Writing, Liberal Arts, Media/Film or the Performing Arts.
- Contest is open to students worldwide.
- The end of the essay entry must include: name and address of entrant; entrant's e-mail address (if available); name and address of entrant's university; and entrants declared major.
- Essay must be no fewer than 600 and no more than 1,000 words in length, and must be typed.
- One entry per student, please.
- Essay must be solely the work of the entrant.
- Essay must be submitted no later than 11:59pm on July 31st, 2008.
- Decisions of the judges are final.
- Employees of The Outer Post. Com, its parent company, Cody Ventures Corporation, its board of directors and their immediate family members are not eligible for this contest.
- All entries become the property of The Outer Post. Com.
- Winners and other participants will be notified by August, 31st 2008.
