What do fashion, food, and Allah have in common?
They're all subjects in the latest advertising blunder by Dunkin' Donuts. The ad featured Food Network celeb Rachael Ray clutching a D&D frozen coffee drink and wearing...a kaffiyeh? Oh please. Everyone knows that thin knits are totally the craze right now, and Tibetan- and Indian-inspired prints have been knotting the necks of fashionistas worldwide. One super-conservative ad critic wrote that Ray's scarf resemebled a kaffiyeh, a piece of fabric that "has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad."
