Why should they beware?  In fact republicans serve a great and nobel purpose - similar to Satin.  You need to have light inorder to have darkness and similarly you need to have Republicans in order to have Democrats.  But now let's take this to another level -

Today's republicans are not really republicans - They are the Democrats of old.  Before you liberals get a twist in your craw - hear me out.  Republicans used to stand for what Fred Thompson is running on - a small federal government to regulate inter-state issues and provide for the defense of the country.  They stood for little government, which means that they stand for little taxes.  Today, we associate Republicans with Religious conservatives, huge government, and small taxes, which is not the republican ideal.

Democrats - seeing the explosive growth in the size of the government are so stricken that they are actually trying to get us out of this federalist mandate, which has lead to two wars (Afganistan and Iraq) and trillions of dollars in debt for the country.

Now we have the parties situated - now its time for debate :-)  I say to hell with both spineless parties who lie steal and cheat to garner votes instead of progressive movement to keep us on the right track - Time for a 3rd party who has an agenda that encompasses more than a green lifestyle or corporatre sponsorship.  Time for the 2/3rds of the country who get handed the scraps from the rich to seize control and support ourselves.  Every other country in the world with elections has more than 2 parties - why shouldn't we?
