Christmas is not my favorite holiday. Mainly because about this time of year people really start becoming consumers. Christmas seems to be more and more about buying things. Buying the X-mas ham, or the bottle of wine for the holiday party, the outfit to wear on Christmas day and of course all those presents. I know that like many other American's just out of college or still in college, we are BROKE. And buying other people stuff just seems silly to me. But more importantly having people buy me stuff that I don't need or want seems crazy. My Christmas list should really be three items: 1. Money because I don't have enough 2. Not buying you a present because I don't have enough money and 3. No going anywhere that I have to spend money.

Please don't get me wrong, I want to spend time with my family and friends for the holidays but I don't want the pressure to buy them things. I want to spend Christmas making memory with the stuff we already have.
