    Artificial Sound

    Electronica

    Unsigned and Doin' Fine

At age 20, the clever soul behind the 1-boy wonder of Artificial Sound is well on his way to conquering every new artist’s obstacle: getting the heck out on the scene. A master mixer of electronic dance/house beats with a self-described, "interesting" sound, Artificial Sound sites fellow techno group Daft Punk as the inspiration behind hypnotic tracks like “Life of a Static Mind” and “New Dance 101.” Missouri born and bred and based in Brighton (a mere 25 miles from his hometown of Springfield) Artificial Sound is currently cutting new beats to compile a demo for international release. He hones his creative energy in an effort to “get (the music) out there and allow others to hear it… (I started creating) these sounds for myself, for fun… but hey, if others wanna listen, why not give them the chance?” Artificial Sound demonstrates the same selfless attitude pioneered by trip-hoppers and electro lovers at raves around the world, making this band an Outer Post favorite.

Cajmere

Cajmere's "It's Time For the Percolator" may be over ten years old, but it has yet to lose its flair. Cajmere approaches this song with the focused precision of a laboratory technician, combining clinically clean drum programming with acidic bass lines and wildly oscillating synth patterns.
