The Outer Post's latest country belle, Jodi Ann, is a singer-songwriter-guitarist from Nashville, TN. She received her first guitar as a child and started writing music in the form of poetry in an effort to verbalize her feelings- "I started out wanting to be a singer. I learned to put the poems and my guitar noise together, and voila! Singer/songwriter."
In 1997, Jodi Ann's career really took off when she was invited to be one of the pre-opening acts for country music sensation Diamond Rio. She moved to Nashville permenantly shortly after, and performed in numerous hot spots all over town. Since then, she's recorded a full 11 song cd titled "The Beginning," and is currently working on another. She'll be returning to the studio in February, 2008.
