Washro is a five piece, hard-rock band that was started in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Washro’s sound originates in part from the old school book, with accolades to Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, and Guns N’ Roses. Some of the band’s more modern influences include Silvertide, Foo Fighters, and Alter-Bridge. Washro’s talent combines preserving the classic hard-rock from the past, while adding a pinch of their own ingredients. Washro was formed in 2005 with three members. The band wasn’t complete until they discovered the last two members in 2006. Through their music, they have grabbed attention from the mayor of their hometown, Hoffman Estates, and even play before the Gin Blossoms at a neighboring town’s annual summer festival. They have also have been recognized on various Internet radio stations. The hook is their high-energy performance that brings competition to the table, leaving a lasting impression on fans.
