| My name is Chris, and NECROMETER is my solo music project. I'm not a newcomer to metal at any capacity, however I deliver fresh new sounds as much as humanly possible for the listeners. I'm a 35 yr. old man that's been playing guitar for almost 20 years, and I've been recording my own music for the last seven years. So I'm no stranger to working in the studio, songwriting, or playing any instrument within a metal band. I've been in at least three bands of noteworthy status, all of which played gigs locally and some outside of the area of my hometown, Rochester, New York. I've spent most of my time studying and creating the sounds of metal, and in no way do I intend to cease this endeavor. In fact, sometime in the near future, I fully expect to be playing the local scene once again, and eventually touring courtesy of a record label with a full band in tow. I have no illusions about the record industry, however I have dreams...and this is what keeps me in a state of perseverity. A musician without dreams and ambition is an artist without success, for if no one gets to appreciate the art one creates, it has been a purely selfish venture and a waste of time. Thank you for reading my ramblings, and enjoy the tunes. |
