I grump for ireland

he said with a smile

like a happy lear

with a white wolf beard.

Eyes dancing he said

I am the grumpiest old man in all of Ireland.

Flirting with the tall French woman who stood

with hip cocked, amused,

cigarette resting between long fingers

wine resting lightly in the left hand palm

he explained to her that Parisians
